John Gwin Ph.D.

John Gwin is a world-class corporate consultant, writer, advisor, seminar leader, educator, and life coach. His academic career was primarily at the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He is currently Professor (emeritus) from that institution. He was also Fulbright Professor to Trinity College in Dublin, and returned there as Visiting Professor of Business Studies. He has lectured at the Sorbonne in Paris, the Alsace Institute in Strasbourg, and IESA in Caracas. He has written more than 30 academic and practitioner articles over his career and made presentations or led panels at more than 30 national and regional conferences. His case studies have been in more than 40 books, and his opinion has been widely quoted in the business press, including Forbes magazine.

John resides in Fairhope, Alabama, his hometown. He continues to consult, coach, write, and teach. He is active in the local Mensa organization and serves on several civic boards and committees. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, the American Marketing Association, the Institute of Management Consultants USA, and several other professional organizations. He is recognized in a large number of domestic and international Who's Who societies, and has been tapped into several academic honor organizations.
